LaserLite reads bar codes with a laser. LaserLite brings you the latest in highly functional portables. It is durable, easy to use, and flexibile. The LaserLite is housed in a rock-solid, water- and dust-resistant metal case with a finish that resists corrosion. And it weighs approximately 11 ounces.

The unit can accept 4 AA ni-cad rechargeable batteries. The charger/downloader will recharge the ni-cad batteries.

You can also use regular alkaline batteries. You get ample power for up to three months, or up to 100,000 bar code reads, from 4 standard AA alkaline batteries. In addition, an internal lithium back-up battery protects your data when changing the 4 AA batteries.

Each unit comes with 128K of memory. A 2 x 16 LCD display prompts the user through the program. When the data is collected, the information is displayed along with the date and time of each read.
